Job Description

At The Okoboji Store, we value exceptional hospitality and seek individuals who can elevate the guest experience through their dedication and skills. Bartenders play a pivotal role in ensuring guests receive top-notch service while enjoying our offerings. 

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities will be expected for this position:

• Warmly greet guests and ensure a welcoming environment upon their arrival.
• Present menus, offer recommendations, and adeptly handle inquiries about our offerings.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Proactively engage with patrons to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.
• Efficiently manage checks and process payments with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, assisting in restocking supplies.
• Accurately pour, mix, and prepare alcoholic beverages in accordance with restaurant guidelines for bar customers and wait staff.
• Check patrons' identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Requirements

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• Preferred: Previous experience in restaurants or bars
• Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to effectively communicate
• Thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and collaborates well within a team
• Projects professionalism and a friendly demeanor consistently
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
