About This Opportunity
We are looking for a BI Developer to join our Data Analytics team within the Innovation & Technology department. This role combines Power BI report development with hands-on data engineering work in Microsoft Fabric. You will build the pipelines, data models, and dashboards that help our business teams make data-informed decisions — working across the full analytics stack from raw data to published report.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Power BI & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders
- Develop and manage semantic models using advanced DAX and Power Query
- Define and standardize metrics, KPIs, and reporting logic in collaboration with business teams
- Performance-tune reports and models to support reliable, fast delivery at enterprise scale
- Build and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows within Microsoft Fabric
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data modeling, transformation, and validation
- Use Python to automate data validation, transformation, and quality checks
- Design and maintain dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) that support self-service analytics
- Collaborate with data engineers on pipeline architecture and data platform decisions
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of published data products
- Build monitoring and alerting for data quality issues using Python and Fabric tooling
- Document pipelines, semantic models, and business logic to support governance and team knowledge-sharing
Required Skills
- Advanced Power BI experience including DAX, Power Query, and enterprise semantic model management
- Strong SQL skills for data modeling, transformation, and validation (joins, CTEs, window functions)
- Python proficiency for data processing, validation, and automation (pandas, PySpark, or scripting)
- Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling - star and snowflake schemas
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or related Warehouse/Lakehouse platforms (Synapse, Azure Data Lake)
- Ability to translate business requirements into reliable data models and reports
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working within a Microsoft Fabric environment (Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Warehouses)
- Familiarity with dbt or other modern data transformation frameworks
- Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for analytics code and BI assets
- Exposure to Databricks or Azure Data Lake Storage
- PL 300 and DP 500 Microsoft Certifications
