What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICU Registered Nurse RN/Part position at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital?
As a full-time ICU RN, you will work 2 12-hour shifts between Monday - Thursday from 7p-7a in our 6 bed ICU with a tight-knit team. This position also qualifies for our discretionary quarterly bonuses, 401k, PTO, illness bank, and paid holidays!
The registered nurse holds a safety sensitive position and delivers personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals. Responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non-licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.
What’s required of you? Current Oklahoma or multistate RN license required upon hire. BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 30 days of hire. NIHSS Stroke Certification required within 60 days of hire
Do I need experience? One year of previous applicable RN experience preferred.
Specialty Knowledge Skills: Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.
