What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab RN - Part-Time Days position at Oklahoma Surgical Hospital?

As a part-time Cath Lab RN, you will work 3 days a week between Monday - Friday in the Cath Lab, and pre and post areas. There is no call for this position and no weekends or holidays required. This position is not eligible for health benefits, but is eligible for our rewarding discretionary quarterly bonuses as well as PTO, sick bank, paid holidays, and 401k.
The registered nurse holds a safety sensitive position and delivers personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals. Responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non-licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.
- What’s required of you? Current Oklahoma or multistate RN license required upon hire. BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 30 days of hire. NIHSS Stroke Certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Do I need experience? One year of previous applicable RN experience preferred.
- Specialty Knowledge Skills: Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.
