Job Description
Under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine, and the department therapists, the Rehab Tech is responsible for performing all assigned tasks in a professional and competent manner. The Rehab Tech must follow all established departmental and hospital policies and guidelines. Duties will include, but are not limited to: preparing patients and equipment for treatment, assisting the therapists with various modalities, monitoring unskilled patient exercise programs, transferring and transporting patients, and cleaning/maintaining equipment and other supplies. The Rehab Tech is responsible for documentation and communication of all necessary information to all appropriate parties in a timely manner. The Rehab Tech is responsible for care of patients in all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center, as situation requires. He/she also performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education - High School Dipolma or GED required
License/Certification - Basic Life Support(BLS) certified
