Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Unarmed Security Officer role located in Tulsa, OK. The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring entrances and exits, and observing activities to identify potential safety or security concerns. Daily tasks include checking doors and gates, responding to alarms or incidents, completing incident and activity reports, and following post orders and client-specific instructions. The role also involves interacting professionally with visitors, employees, and clients, providing directions or assistance, and promptly reporting suspicious behavior or hazards to supervisors or emergency services as needed. Officers are expected to adhere to company policies, maintain a neat and professional appearance, and support a safe environment for everyone on-site.
Qualifications
- Ability to conduct regular patrols, stand and walk for extended periods, and remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
- Strong observation, situational awareness, and basic problem-solving skills to identify and address security or safety issues.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with the public, clients, coworkers, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Capacity to complete accurate written reports, follow detailed instructions, and comply with established procedures and regulations.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and sound judgment, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and composed in stressful or challenging situations and to de-escalate conflicts when possible.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is beneficial but not required.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain any required state security licenses or certifications, and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
- Current CLEET license perferred
