Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Choctaw, OK for a Physical Therapist Assistant/Physical Therapist. The individual in this role will provide direct patient care, including implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training under appropriate supervision and within licensure scope. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments (as applicable), documenting treatments and progress in electronic medical records, and collaborating with the clinical team to adjust care plans based on patient response. The role also involves educating patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies, as well as supporting a welcoming clinic environment by coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth patient flow. The Physical Therapist Assistant/Physical Therapist will uphold the clinic’s commitment to evidence-based practice, safety, and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training techniques.
• Demonstrated skills in Patient Care and Home Care, with the ability to educate patients and families on home exercise programs and ongoing self-management.
• Understanding of relevant Medicine concepts as they relate to orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including contraindications and safety considerations.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred for Physical Therapist applicants.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patients and teammates.
• Strong documentation and time-management abilities, including familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing education, and professional growth.
• Ability to safely assist and handle patients during mobility and therapeutic activities, including occasional lifting and physical effort.
