Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with clients in a private practice setting with an amazing team! You will have the opportunity to work with the pediatric population and their families and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a range of neuro-developmental disorders. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for the Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant
- Associates level degree in Physical Therapy.
- Oklahoma State License: PTA
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS the Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience working in pediatrics
- Experience working with clients with developmental disorders
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide direct treatment to children in engaging developmental therapy activities
- Monitor and provide timely documentation of progress for each therapy session
- Provide feedback to the physical therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate parents and caregivers on exercises and activities to continue therapy at home
- Follow compliance and ethical standards for best practice in pediatric physical therapy
