Annual Salary: $58,847.88 Full State Employee Benefits
Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.
Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree plus two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
- OR a Bachelors Degree plus three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
- OR Four years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership level that provides direct supervision to a unit of lower-level Child Welfare Specialists with the Pathways to Launch program within Oklahoma Successful Adulthood.
- As a direct supervisor, works with team to interview and select team applicants; maintains personnel records and completes performance evaluations; trains new staff, performs case reviews; and develops and administers in-service training programs. Conducts monthly staff meetings to discuss individual cases, training, and development of Staff.
- Position includes close coordination and consultation with other Child Welfare Specialists, Child Welfare Supervisors, and District Directors regarding appropriate case actions and referrals for the Pathways to Launch program, auditing and tracking of these referrals to ensure and verify the correct information is provided.
- Position includes close coordination and consultation with OKSA Pathways to Launch Field Manager, Programs Manager, and community partners regarding needs of young adults in the Pathways to Launch program.
- Flexible schedule to be available for crisis management if necessary. Hours may vary and include nights and weekends.
- Position includes travel and client transportation.
