- Oklahoma Heart Institute offers 24/7 catheterization labs, cardiac rehabilitation and a heart failure center. In addition, OHI is involved in over 200 cutting-edge research studies across the vast amount of specialties within the system.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient's status.
- Participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
- Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Oklahoma State LPN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- ACLS, PALS etc. may be required for specific units
