Direct Reports: Facilities Maintenance Technicians
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Leads the work of maintenance techs by working with supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
- Follow up on all maintenance techs within maintenance care system on assigned WOs to ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Complete a daily visual inspection of the facilities and equipment to determine if repairs or maintenance are required.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and mission-oriented attitude and is responsive to work orders and customer delivery.
- Leads the orientation and training of all newly hired maintenance techs for 4 to 8 weeks or until the new maintenance tech is competent to complete WOs independently.
- Responsible for training and development of all maintenance techs.
- Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 to 3 years experience as a maintenance tech or a combination of 5 years of specialized vocational/technical training.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Oklahoma Drivers License required.
- Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
- Reliable transportation and communication required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a retail store environment most of the time.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes, dust, and extreme weather conditions such as heat and cold.
- Moderate noise level.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
- Local and long-distance travel is required.
- On occasion long-distance travel, over-night stay (Hotel) will be required.
- Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
