* Responsibilities are varied but related to primary focus of job area. May work outside area of assigned duties. Routine duties based on detailed instruction. Works under direct supervision. Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides. Refers complex issues to higher levels.
* May drive automotive equipment to and from work sites.
* Prepares simple reports or keeps maintenance records, and other routine duties in various craft trades.
* May assemble tools, supplies, materials, and equipment, and assist in maintaining them in serviceable condition.
* All other duties as assigned.
* Assists skilled craft workers in a variety of maintenance, repair, or construction work by furnishing and using simple tools, materials and supplies.
* Operates machines and equipment.
* Cleans work area machines.
* Assists the department and members by providing directions, instructions, and responses to routine inquiries.
* High School Diploma/GED And currently pursuing an Associate's Degree or higher in a Technical discipline (i.e., Electronics, Engineering Technology, Power Plant Operations, etc.).
* May be required to work overtime as needed.
* Required to work in both an office environment and in outside weather conditions.
* May require travel to various job sites and facilities occasionally requiring staying overnight.
