Red River Screen Printer - Red River Screen Print Company in Oklahoma City, OK, is looking for an experienced, dependable Screen Printer to join our production team.
We are seeking someone with 1-2 years of screen-printing experience, including experience operating both manual and automatic screen-printing presses. Candidates should understand the fundamentals of the screen-printing process and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify count and prepare garments for production.
- Review work orders and verify quantities, garment specifications, print colors, print order, and other production requirements.
- Prepare screens for production; clean, coat and expose using proper screen mesh for desired print.
- Reclaim and clean screens after production.
- Operate both manual and automatic screen-printing presses.
- Produce consistent quality prints using proper squeegee techniques.
- Recognize and troubleshoot common ink, screen, registration, and various press issues.
- Verify completed quantities and print quality before breaking down and cleaning the press.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Work efficiently while maintaining consistent print quality and meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of screen-printing experience preferred.
- Experience with both manual and automatic screen-printing presses.
- Basic understanding of screen preparation, exposure, reclaiming, inks, and printing processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to work as part of a production team.
