About the Position:
We are actively seeking a Training Specialist I to assist our Staff Development trainer in providing training and educational opportunities to our staff. You will be required to attend training to become a certified Therapeutic Options instructor and certified CPR instructor. Some of the duties will include teaching Therapeutic Options and CPR, monitoring new staff during their orientation, assisting with developing training, data collection and entry. This position will also utilize a variety of computer applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. The duties of this position require strong skills in multitasking, customer service, and critical thinking.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the bachelor’s degree.
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us: Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.
We will transition soon into our new 140,000 square foot, 106-bed hospital, slated for completion in 2026. This state of the art facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, will feature a 24-hour crisis response Urgent Recovery Center and will be situated in the OSU Academic Medical District, near the new VA Hospital and the OSU Medical Center in downtown Tulsa.
