Position Summary:

In collaboration with the Director of Business Development (DBD), you will manage day-to-day admission operations while adhering to best practices and maintaining company core values.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading daily census and hospital metrics in team meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with local insurance payers, maintain current/up to day knowledge of payer contract and preferences
- Assist Director of Business Development with admission audits and pulls data correctly for team education
- Assist with day-to-day tasks related to admissions, billing, and authorization submission, and provides training for new hires in collaboration with the Director of Business Development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Two years experience in rehabilitation or closely related field.
- Familiarity with insurance products, payors, and pre-authorization
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements
- Clinical knowledge in an acute care setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
