- Train school office staff on the operations of the (SIS) Student Information System, including beginning-of-year training sessions for configuration of schedules, building site course sections, and appropriately assigning staff

- Seeks out solutions to improve processes and effectively communicates with departmental stakeholders to plan implementations for necessary procedural changes and/or periodic system updates
- Partner with key stakeholders in cross-functional areas to engage in troubleshooting activities related to Student Information System design, configuration, and/or infrastructure, including yearly configuration of grade reporting tools and master course structures for assigned schools
- Provide Parent/Teacher support for SIS gradebook and portal applications.
- Great Systems (Support & Accountability):
- Maintains administrative and instructional user accounts within the Student Information System as staff changes are made
- Provide support to school staff for processing applications, data changes, data input, and report extraction
- Coordinate with school site and departmental users to provide timely and correct data input and reports using the district’s Student Information System.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the maintenance and integrity of data as required for reporting purposes to the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
- Work with district and outside entities to coordinate cyclical processing events such as grading cycles and grade posting, state reporting periods, various data gathering periods, and transcript processing.
- Provides customer support to troubleshoot advanced-level technical problems, ensure productivity, and maintain system operability
- Promotes the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the department during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field
- Demonstrated effective support leadership in a data entry and/or customer service environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, Google for Education Suite, Internet Use, Intranet, and basic computer knowledge
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills in planning, scheduling, training, and problem-solving.
- Experience and knowledge of school operational procedures, including FERPA guidelines and education compliance standards
- Experience delivering training sessions for both individuals and groups
- Familiarity with connected education resources such as Clever, and publishers such as: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Mcgraw Hill Education, Savvas Learning, Cengage Learning, NWEA, Edgenuity, etc.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in enterprise and business applications such as: Incident IQ
- Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education at a 2:1 ratio. Therefore for every 1 year of college lacking, 2 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted.
- Must have adequate manual dexterity to write legibly and perform required duties on a computer.
- Must have adequate visual acuity to read, interpret and transcribe written material and other required duties.
- Requires normal range of hearing and clear speaking abilities to interact appropriately with others in person and on the telephone.
- Requires some stooping, bending, stretching and occasional lifting not to exceed 25 pounds.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- May periodically require work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, under sometimes. stressful conditions in order to meet business needs and strict deadlines.
- Office duties will be performed in a well-lighted, climate-controlled environment.
- Will require time in office, as well as external meeting locations with community partners or schools throughout the OKC metro area.
- May require participation in meetings and activities outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
- May be required to work overtime and weekends and holidays.
