What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Center Attendant - Student position at Oklahoma City Community College and Careers?
Wellness Attendant responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing member relationships/customer service, conduct check-in procedures and answering basic questions regarding equipment use, maintaining the cleanliness of the Wellness Center and associated hallways and vending areas, assisting in the preventative maintenance of equipment, various housekeeping duties. The Wellness Center Attendant is responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and effective and safe functioning of the Wellness Center.

Minimum Education/Experience
Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall OR Spring semester OR enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours for the Summer semester
OR
Current OCCC student with a Federal Work Study award.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium work: This position requires the person to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force and frequently exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
2. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
This position requires the person to frequently move about the Recreation and Fitness department facilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
This position requires the person to frequently communicate with students, faculty, staff, and others to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations.
This position requires the person to frequently remain in a standing and stationary position.
This position requires the person to frequently operate a computer, other office machinery, and other machinery/devices associated with the Recreation and Fitness department to perform the essential functions of the position.
This position requires the person to operate equipment that frequently involves repetitive motions of hands and wrists.
This position requires the person to occasionally position self to access materials that may be above head or at ground level.
This position requires the person to frequently position self to move, lift, push, pull, work on, or operate and/or inspect equipment.
3. VISUAL ACUITY:
This position requires the person to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
4. WORKING CONDITIONS
This position’s essential functions are performed in an indoor recreation and fitness facility.
