**FULLTIME BARTLESVILLE CLINIC**
We are seeking a flexible and adaptable RN for a hybrid role providing coverage between our Radiation Oncology department (3 days per week) and Medical Oncology clinic (2 days per week)
Radiation duties include assisting patients with support and education, phone triage, providing care and follow up to ill and recovering Radiation Oncology patients. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional needs of the patient.
Clinic duties include providing comprehensive care coordination, supporting a holistic and coordinated approach across the continuum of care. This position assists with informed decision-making; collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to allow for timely screening, diagnosis, treatment and increased supportive care throughout the patient experience. This position provides individual assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help identify and overcome barriers which may hinder quality medical and psychosocial patient care. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program for professional nursing education. OCSRI is willing to train the right candidate. Oncology and/or medical/surgical experience are highly desirable. Growth opportunities once an oncology certification is obtained. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer is a plus. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification is required. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
