Summary:
The role of a Quoting Specialist is critical to the Center of Excellence’s success. The role of a Quoting Specialist is the most important part of DVSS. The QS is responsible for taking the data related to a customer request and keying that data into various quoting systems like Current Platform, Proposal Manager, OVI, eCost, Premisys, etc. This role is responsible to ensure that all services are quoted against all addresses provided in their entirety. The QS will need to ensure the accuracy of the output against the originating data requirements prior to sending the output quote to sales for customer presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create quote(s) in any relative system needed to fulfill a request from sales
- Work with other teams such as FS, SSEs, Address Validation, Account, Pricing, Globalink, Legal, Premisys CPE, and product managers to ensure all being quoted properly and in a timely manner
- Escalate on roadblocks that preclude the ability to meet stated KPIs or SLAs
- Proactively monitor quoting activity and advise Facilitating Specialist (FS) immediately if/when a risk is identified
- Provide daily updates on the tasks of the request to the FS
- Track progress and report day-to-day activity and status to AT/Sales in the absence of FS
- Escalate issues that may jeopardize timelines
- Quality, efficiency, and accuracy of all quotes
- Assist FS in gathering all the required information to populate customer sheets and help populate wherever required
- Responsible to meet all the internal milestones of an RFP request
- Develop knowledge of all the products used in quoting
Qualifications:
- Mandatory MS Office / GSuite skills or education
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory
- Must possess professional communication skills for phone calls, emails
- Must have excellent organizational, time, project management, and prioritization skills
- Creative problem-solving skills to ensure timelines are met
- Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work tours (US, EMEA or APAC hours)
- Strong team collaboration and coordination skills with minimal supervision
