Furniture Fair is seeking a Furniture Sales Consultant for our retail showroom. The Furniture Sales Consultant provides design services to customers, enters and manages orders, and coordinates general business activities and the needs of Furniture Fair clients through courteous and timely service.

Furniture Sales Consultant - Primary Functions

  • Provide design services for customers. The ability to sketch is also helpful for customers.
  • Furniture Sales Consultants are responsible on the front end for selection information and order entry.
  • Build your client base by connecting with existing clients list and new walk-in business.
  • Maintain and organize a visually appealing showroom

Qualifications of our Furniture Sales Consultants

  • Retail Sales Experience
  • Experience with tablet/IPad technology
  • Experience presenting information and data in a sales environment

Furniture Sales Consultant - Desired Skills:

  • Ability to manage a design project from start to finish
  • Great communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Desire to learn to about production of furniture and the required manufactures and products

  • Experience with tablet/IPad technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Physical requirement of this position.

  • Must be capable of being on your feet (standing or walking the sales floor) for extended periods of time (up to two hours at a stretch)
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
