Support the CAM team Salary up to: $59,228.40 based on education and experience Responsibilities Position shall assist with the oversight of multiple state buildings managed by OMES DCAM Office of Facilities Management. This oversight may include the status of systems, work orders and construction projects within the facilities assigned.* Position shall be responsible for completion of assigned PM inspection schedules for all buildings assigned. This will include properly documenting within the department IWMS deficiencies that need to be addressed whether by in house maintenance support unit or third party service contractor. * Assigns work requests entered into the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS) to individuals on their team.* Reviews subordinate staff entries for work orders, completion of work, and time cards in the IWMS.* Assigns scheduled preventive maintenance work orders.* Provides oversight and direction on that tasks assigned to subordinate staff.* Oversee event setups within OFM managed facilities to ensure occupant safety. The position serves as supervisor of a small staff of up to 5 employees or contractors. Responsibility includes training, assigning/checking work as well as performing the same or related work. * Denotes Essential Function Physical Demands and Work Environment This position works outside exposed to environmental elements for a large percentage of the work day. The noise level in the work environment can occasionally be loud and require hearing protection. This position requires standing, bending, crouching / pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying up to 25/50 pounds / climbing ladders/stairs . Occasional travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED and three (2) years of experience in construction, maintenance or skilled building trade. Preference may be given to qualified applicants with three (3) or more years of supervisory experience.
