Okemos Kids Club is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Staff Member to work closely with a school-age child in a supportive, engaging environment. Position Details (Part-Time, School-Age):
- Monday–Friday Morning Shift: 6:45–9:00 AM
- 7:30-4:30 on break days and Summer
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to complete a background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized (1:1) supervision and support for a school-age child
- Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities and social interactions
- Support behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs using positive strategies
- Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding progress and needs
- Assist with daily routines including snacks and transitions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure an inclusive and positive environment
