This position is employed through EDUStaff. All candidates must be currently onboarded and in good standing with EDUStaff or be willing to onboard with EDUSTAFF to be eligible for this assignment.
JOB SUMMARY:
Okemos Kids Club is looking for energetic, child-centered individuals who can build strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to complete a background check
- Part-time position at $15.44 per hour
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Okemos, MI 48864 (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities
- Supervise children during play, meals, and rest time
- Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering and toileting
- Promote positive behavior and help children problem-solve
- Communicate with parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or program space
Pay: $15.44 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
