Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an Inpatient and Emergency Room settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems for efficient patient record management.
- Perform procedures as appropriate
- Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving during emergency situations.
- Uphold infection control standards and promote a safe healthcare environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems
- Familiarity with various nursing specialties including pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Experience with procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, tube feeding, and airway management.
- Understanding of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation.
