What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at OKAYA INFOCOM?
• Create, review, and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation (process routings, work instructions, assembly instructions, control plans, etc.) for new part numbers and production processes.
• Support supplier qualification efforts by reviewing and validating supplier manufacturing documentation, process flows, and capability data.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements during new supplier onboarding.
• Conduct process capability studies, PFMEAs, and risk assessments to validate supplier readiness for new part production.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for manufacturing documentation standards, ensuring consistency and clarity across internal and supplier documentation.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturing documentation is prepared and approved prior to production release.
• Provide technical support during first article inspections (FAI), PPAPs, and supplier audits.
• Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to enhance efficiency, traceability, and quality.
