We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused team member who enjoys helping customers, learning new products, and using online marketplaces and social media to drive sales.
Position Overview
This position combines retail sales, customer service, and online product marketing. You will assist customers in our showroom, answer product questions, help customers find the right products, and create and manage product listings on Facebook Marketplace and other online sales channels.
The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, is comfortable with technology and social media, and can communicate effectively both in person and online.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide an exceptional in-store experience
- Learn and educate customers on electric bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, and accessories
- Assist customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
- Process sales transactions and special orders
- Handle customer questions, returns, and service inquiries
- Create and manage Facebook Marketplace listings
- Take quality product photos and videos for online listings
- Write clear and engaging product descriptions
- Respond to Facebook Marketplace inquiries and follow up with leads
- Maintain and update online listings as inventory changes
- Assist with social media content and marketing initiatives
- Receive and stock inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace, social media, and online selling platforms
- Ability to take quality product photos and write effective product listings
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn technical product information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Retail sales experience preferred but not required
Preferred Experience
- Facebook Marketplace selling experience
- Social media marketing experience
- Retail sales or customer service experience
- Outdoor recreation, cycling, watersports, or pickleball knowledge
What We’re Looking For
A significant part of this position involves creating Facebook Marketplace listings, responding to online inquiries, and helping generate sales through online channels. Candidates should be comfortable using social media, taking photos, communicating with customers online, and turning inquiries into sales.
