Role Description
We are seeking a Managing Broker to launch and lead our Chicago brokerage operations. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role that offers the rare opportunity to build a new market presence with the full backing of an established NYC firm.
As Managing Broker, you will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor and grow the Chicago broker team, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across office, retail, and investment sales. You will play a central role in driving revenue, expanding our portfolio, and establishing Okada & Company as a premier brand in the Chicago commercial real estate market.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting property and market research to identify high-value opportunities.
• Managing and expanding client relationships with landlords, tenants, and investors.
• Leading deal negotiations and ensuring all transactions meet legal and regulatory standards.
• Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing brokerage team.
• Acting as the public face of Okada & Company in the Chicago market.

Qualifications
• Proven success in commercial real estate transactions (leasing, acquisitions, dispositions).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing brokerage professionals.
• Deep knowledge of Illinois real estate law and compliance requirements.
• Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois (Managing Broker designation required).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
