Showroom & Outside Sales Representative
O.K. Lumber Company – San Carlos, CA
O.K. Lumber is seeking a hybrid Showroom & Outside Sales Representative to drive sales through in-store customer service and contractor account development. This role combines retail sales, quoting, and field-based relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, quotes, and orders
- Manage special orders and follow-ups using Epicor BisTrack
- Build relationships with contractors and generate new business
- Conduct jobsite visits and follow up on bids
- Meet sales and gross margin targets while maintaining pricing discipline
Qualifications
- 2 years sales experience (building materials preferred)
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Basic estimating/takeoff ability (preferred)
- Comfortable with computers/ERP systems
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
- Base salary commission (sales and margin-based)
- Bonus for new account growth mileage reimbursement
