Duties
- Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly to maintain a spotless dining environment
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately
- Handle food running responsibilities with care, ensuring proper food handling and safety standards are met
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, utensils, and trash in accordance with sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest orders or assist with order accuracy when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting is essential
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
- Experience in banquet service or hospitality roles can be advantageous but is not mandatory
- A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
