This is a part-time, hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, with opportunities for remote work. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support, assist with the preparation of legal documents, and ensure the efficient operation of the firm. Daily responsibilities include drafting and proofreading documents, maintaining legal files, managing communications, coordinating schedules, and supporting attorneys in delivering services to clients.
- Strong foundation in legal concepts, including Law and practices related to legal document preparation
- Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and tasks related to supporting attorneys and firm operations
- Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Practical knowledge as a Legal Assistant, including organizing and handling confidential case files
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a law firm setting or similar role is a plus
