Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Materials Coordinator II.
POSITION SUMMARY:
To ensure purchased and manufactured products, are received, expedited and issued to manufacturing as require to ensure items are available to meet customer due dates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Materials Coordinator II will:
- Monitor inventory receipts
- Create priority list and expedite received items through Inspection
- Verify quantity received and stock Items once accepted by Inspection
- Monitor inventory to determine if components are available to be issued to work in process and to determine shortages
- Issue assemblies to work in progress
- Create and maintain priority list for manufacturing
- Create documentation to ship items to outside suppliers for processing
- Prepare items to be shipped to suppliers for processing
- Perform Inventory transactions in ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy
- Inventory control duties including cycle counts and yearly physical inventory
- Creating and maintaining machine priority list
- Tracking and expediting machined components
- Operate forklift and other material movement equipment
- Monitor list of past due purchase orders and request delivery status.
- Interface required with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management and Suppliers
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school education or GED equivalent
- At least three to five years of experience in Production and Inventory Control
- Experience with engineering specifications and drawings
- Basic mathematical capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills needed
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Moderate physical effort will be required
