Position: Service Technician
Reports to: Spartanburg Service Supervisor
Hours: M-Th 7-5, F 7-3
Travel: <10%
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years welding experience
- Basic computer skills (tablet, computer, etc)
Preferred:
- 2 years equipment maintenance experience
- Aluminum TIG & MIG welding experience
- Stainless Steel TIG welding experience
- Steel TIG & MIG welding experience
- 2 years fluid dynamics experience
- 5 years meter calibration
- 5 years DOT tank inspections
Job Duties:
- Repair aluminum, steel & stainless steel tanks according to spec requirements (liquid holding, structural, appurtenance, etc)
- Confined space entry welding
- Aluminum pipe welding according to spec requirements
- Fabricate custom solutions to solve problems
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and repair wiring
- Diagnose pumping problems and repair / replace components
- Perform DOT pressure vessel testing (VKIP UC L T, Method 27, etc)
- Calibrate and seal meters for resale
- Repair hydraulic drive systems
- Handle HAZMAT properly (primarily diesel and gas)
- Anything else determined necessary by management
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Experience:
