What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Courier- Environmental Lab position at Oilfield Environmental & Compliance?
OEC is seeking a part-time courier to join our team! We are a full-service environmental laboratory and we pick up samples all over the central coast and in the valley.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be able to read, speak and write in English
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to pass random drug tests (ongoing)
- Must have a current California drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record (a current driver history print-out from the DMV will be required upon hiring)
- High school diploma/ GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Courier experience
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
- Use a company vehicle to pick up samples from various locations on the Central Coast and in the valley
- Keep flawless records of sample receipts and drop offs using the Chain of Custody forms
- Learn which analyses require immediate attention and communicate ahead with the lab from the field to warn about impending samples
- Monitor and maintain the company vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients in the field
- Shift will be Monday-Friday about 4-6 hours each day during normal business hours with the possibility of overtime.
