Duties
Conduct Changeover responsibilities as indicated on INJFM-19
§ Conduct Traverse and Gate Cutter robot set up and programming
§ Perform start up and shut down of injection molding machines as necessary
§ Repair and Troubleshoot equipment as needed. Answer machinery alarms
§ Support quality technician as a team member to ensure quality products are produced as scheduled.
§ Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product,
process and quality system.
§ Perform department 6S requirements
§ Other duties as assigned by management.
§ Will assist in making sample parts
§ Create work orders for die repair
§ Enter Production, Scrap, Run Time and Downtime at end of shift into Production

Education or Required Experience
- High School or GED required
- Formal/continuing education in IM processing preferred
Physical Requirements
- Position requires walking, standing, sitting, bending and/or reaching
- Position requires lifting of up to 50 lb. several times per day
- Ability to stand and walk for an 8 - 12-hour shift
- Ability to safely climb and descend a ladder
- Ability to effectively hold and utilize small hand tools
- Ability to visually detect small defects in production parts or materials
- Must be able to hear buzzers, horns, and/or warning signals emitted by production equipment or alarms
Skills
· Mold change and start-up experience with injection molding equipment
· Experience with auxiliary equipment for molding (dryer, loader, thermolator)
· Experience with robots and EOATs for part and runner removal.
- Knowledgeable in the use of measuring devices (basic metrology)
- Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, etc.
- Basic quality/inspection skills
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication to accomplish responsibilities and tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures and processes
Safety
- Adhere to safety procedures when operating equipment
- Adhere to company general safety policies and procedures
- Report/Address any unsafe conditions or other safety related issues immediately
- Use appropriate machine guards and procedures
- Wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Adhere to company ISO14001 policy as it relates to environmental issues
Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
