The Personal Care Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, regulatory compliance, and quality of resident care in the personal care units of Clarion Nursing & Rehab and Oil City Nursing & Rehab. This role ensures that residents receive compassionate, high-quality services in a safe and supportive environment. The Administrator will provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff while fostering a culture of teamwork and resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations of the personal care units at both facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing personal care homes.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and professional development.

  • Manage resident admissions, assessments, care planning, and discharges in coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.

  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial performance for the personal care units.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of resident records, reports, and documentation.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to resident, family, or staff concerns.

  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment for all residents.

  • Split time between Clarion Nursing & Rehab and Oil City Nursing & Rehab as scheduled, ensuring strong leadership presence at both facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) certification required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social services, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in personal care, assisted living, or long-term care setting.

  • Strong knowledge of state regulations and personal care home standards.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across two facilities effectively.

  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach with a commitment to quality care.

Schedule & Travel:

  • Position requires consistent on-site leadership at both Clarion Nursing & Rehab and Oil City Nursing & Rehab.

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites is required.
