TRAINING NEEDS
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES
1.Has completed worksteps program specific to department.
2.Has completed pre-employment physical specific to department.
3.Has completed company orientation.
4.Has completed safety training.
5.Has received the quality training program.
JOB KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
6.Must have personal hand tools as required.
7.Must have working knowledge of cutting and welding.
8.Must be able to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with others.
9.Must be able to detect technical malfunctions in the machines.
10.Must have a sound understanding of using all repair tools, equipment, and testing machinery.
11.Must be able to lead and motivate a team of subordinates.
12.Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
13.Perform routine servicing and overhauling of all diesel engines.
14.Inspect engines and detect malfunctions.
15.Report to Maintenance Supervisor conditions observed for evaluation and scheduling.
16.Troubleshoot equipment breakdown, determine the failure and make proper repair.
17.Replace engine parts and appropriately assemble the same.
18.Maintain records of servicing and engine repairs.
19.Check electrical systems, transmission parts and ensure the smooth functions of the same.
20.Perform cuts and welds when necessary.
21.Maintain inventory of spare parts and place necessary orders.
22.Wear prescribed safety equipment and observe safety policies.
WORKING CONDITIONS
-Foundry Environment.
-Exposure to extreme temperatures.
-Exposure to high noise levels.
-Exposure to dirt and fumes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-High School Diploma/GED preferred
