What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Mechanical Technician position at Oil Chem, Inc.?
Primary responsibilities include;
Troubleshooting and fabricating equipment, repairs for production processes, including forklifts, material handling equipment, pumps, air compressors, boilers, pipefitting & threading, some basic welding skills preferred (stick welding). 10-15% of the job requires welding.
Completes checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures;
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fork Lift experience required
