Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support opening and closing duties, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and POS transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in Korean / Japanese food service or restaurant roles, including serving, host/hostess, or bussing experience
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required
