Ohmstede Ltd. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations which involves receiving, storing, organizing and distributing materials while maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing, storing, and distributing incoming materials.
- Safely move materials to and from warehouse areas as directed.
- Assist with inventory counts to reconcile inventory records with actual stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free warehouse space.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. (training provided) while following all safety procedures.
- Complies with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.
- Perform other general warehouse tasks as assigned by supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., walk extensively, and stand for extended periods.
- Possesses effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Responds to questions and concerns appropriately & timely.
- Manages time efficiently and prioritizes tasks.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and workloads.
- Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry.
- Willingness to learn and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Work Environment
- Ability to work in heat, noisy, dusty, dirty, cold environment
