Position Overview
As a Dietary Aide / Cook, you will assist with meal preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen sanitation while ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious, and appealing meals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
- Assist with food prep including chopping, portioning, and plating
- Serve meals to residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred)
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely meal service
Qualifications
- Previous food service, dietary aide, or cook experience preferred
- Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or senior living setting is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and positive attitude
- Must be able to pass background check and meet hiring requirements
