Airport restaurants run differently. Here, adding labor actually equates to building revenue, so traditional labor management is vastly different from a typical streetside operation. An experienced operator can take this volume and really build it into something massive.

As an Assistant General Manager, you aren't just running a shift, you're running the business. You will work directly with our established salaried team to drive speed of service, manage operational costs, and develop our hourly supervisors across both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH). To succeed here, you need a relentlessly positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to hold a team to strict brand standards while moving a massive volume of travelers.

What You’ll Do:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee both FOH and BOH operations. Coach your shift supervisors to ensure seamless coordination between the register and the kitchen during heavy airport rushes.
• Business Operations: Assist with inventory management, food cost controls, labor scheduling, and daily reporting.
• Team Development: Train, evaluate, and develop hourly staff and shift leaders. You are responsible for building a strong bench of talent.
• Guest Service (FOH): Lead by example in greeting travelers, delivering our signature "My Pleasure!" hospitality, and handling any escalated guest expectations.
• Brand & Safety Compliance: Act as the ultimate authority on the floor for all food safety regulations, proper food handling, sanitation guidelines, and strict adherence to Chick-fil-A brand standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 2 years of restaurant management experience is required. High-volume or prior Chick-fil-A leadership experience is a massive plus.
• Certification: An active ServSafe certification is required.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible salaried schedule based on the needs of the business, including early mornings, days, or evenings. Monday-Saturday availability required; guaranteed every Sunday off.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work on your feet for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Security Clearance: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment background check and fingerprinting to obtain an airport security badge.
