Accounting Operations
In this exciting role you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, inventory revaluation, and fixed assets.
- Perform reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support month-end close and reporting processes.
- Oversee inventory revaluation and ensure accurate valuation adjustments.
- Manage fixed asset capitalization and depreciation schedules.
- Track and report capital expenditures, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to visualize financial performance.
- Assist with variance analysis and provide insights for leadership.
- Support the Controller in building forecasts and annual budgets.
- Deliver accurate data and insights for planning processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
- Support audit requests and documentation.
- Maintain accuracy of financial data in ERP systems.
- Collaborate on system enhancements and reporting improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- More than three years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and inventory accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator who can present clear, concise insights to leadership.
- Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
- MS Dynamics 365 a plus.
