We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including skid loaders, excavators, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material transport, and other construction activities as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and project progress.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational logs.
Requirements
- Prior experience operating construction site machinery such as dozers, skid loaders, excavators, or similar heavy equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy vehicles like dump trucks & trailers or willingness/ability to obtain.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials.
- Knowledge of John Deere & Bobcat machinery or similar brands is advantageous but not required. Pay: $ $30.41 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 65.0 per week
