SUMMARY:
The Heavy-Duty Custodian shall be responsible for keeping the property clean at all times in a safe and efficient manner. The Heavy Duty custodian shall report to the assigned EVS Manager and in the absence of the EVS Manager report the EVS Supervisor, while performing his/her duties in accordance to the Company policies, procedures and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and TASKS include the following and are to be performed within the company’s policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for ensuring the property is kept clean at all times.
• Cleans restrooms multiple times each day, to include floor and fixtures.
• Clean all gaming devices, tables and chairs associated with the casino floor.
• Remove trash from the gaming area and clean trash cans.
• Clean all associated support areas to include back o the house offices and restrooms as needed.
• Must have knowledge of janitorial chemicals.
• Responsible for striping, buffing, waxing floors on property.
• Daily mopping of needed floors.
• Responsible for shampooing/extracting carpet, buffering floors.
• Responsible for high distance cleaning (i.e. walls, monitors, signs, vents, etc.)
• Regular vacuuming of all carpeted surfaces.
• Ensure that while cleaning, guests and co-workers are treated in a professional manner.
• Informs EVS Supervisor of any cleaning supplies or toiletries that need to be ordered.
• Informs Security and EVS Supervisor of any employee or guest theft.
• Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivering of exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and member information and pertinent casino data.
• Always maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.
• Compliance with punctuality and attendance policies required.
• Working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year experience working as a custodian or related area.
• Ability to learn how to safety use cleaning solutions.
• Ability to learn current occupational safety standards, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required OOGC License.
• Must be a US citizen or provide documentation to work in the US.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
