Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet, Countertop, and Specialty Millwork Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality custom cabinetry, countertops, and specialty millwork pieces that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, assembly, and installation will ensure our projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate cabinetry, countertops, and specialty millwork components.
- Assemble components with attention to detail using techniques such as caulking, fastening, sanding, and finishing to produce polished final products.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and/or fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish materials such as wood, metal, and composite substrates.
- Measure materials precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate cuts and fits.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure specifications are met throughout the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing tools and materials while following safety guidelines for heavy lifting and hazardous materials.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry and countertop fabrication or millwork manufacturing with a strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation (including plastering), roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, masonry or related construction trades is relevant experience.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery programming and operation for precise fabrication tasks is helpful.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading combined with the ability to interpret schematics for fixture installation or custom projects.
- Excellent hand tool proficiency along with experience using power tools safely on various materials.
