Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Marietta location in achieving operational excellence and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, leadership and management teamwork.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff and employee relations
- Review and understand policies and procedures put in place by the Credit Union as well as government regulations
- Counsel, evaluate, train, motivate and discipline employees in accordance with policies and the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner to staff, members, and the community and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service
- Maintain an adequate amount of all branch supplies
- Order cash weekly to be able to service our members and maintain levels in the vault in accordance with the policies set by the Credit Union
- Verify cash deliveries for accuracy, verify vault balances for accuracy and fill ATM weekly in accordance with guidelines set by the CU for use of our members
- Ensure that staff are properly trained in all aspects of their position to ensure quality service to members
- Ensure the safety, soundness and security of the Credit Union branches at all times
- Be able to perform all bargaining unit functions including loan processing, member service representative duties, senior teller duties and just assist in general out on the line at peak times
- Authorize fee returns for members when deemed necessary within the guidelines set by the CU
- Investigate teller outages and complete proper paperwork when necessary, regarding the over-short policy and implement necessary procedures for employee discipline
- Create monthly schedules for your staff and have them completed in a timely manner ahead of the following month
- Hold staff meetings to discuss areas that may need improvement, changes in procedures, new services or products that we are offering and train staff on new services and products
- Check work done by hourly staff to ensure it was done properly and the maintenance was done correctly to an account
- Train staff to cross-sell our products and services to all members and potential members
- Oversee programs like Remote Deposit Access, branch on-boarding program, Q2 Central (online banking), meridian link NAO, etc..
- Oversee all branch operations, report all facility issues, device issues or repairs to Sr Management or proper personnel
- Work with internal auditors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Address member issues/complaints that hourly staff may not be able to handle
- Approve and deny time off requests from staff, approve staff payroll timesheets
- Work directly with Sr Management to address any confidential branch issues
- Participating in community events, associations, clubs, and fundraising efforts to promote the Credit Union and its members
- Develop business for the CU, cultivate relationships in the community, and bring in new personal and business accounts
- Reach new account/business development goals set by Sr Management
Qualifications:
- Must have proven sales and marketing experience/skills
- Must have management experience
- Must have Oral/Written communication skills
- Must be proficient on computers
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Must be self-motivated and someone who takes initiative
- Must be team oriented
- Must have problem solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
