What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRUST CLERK position at OHIO VALLEY BANK?
-You are responsible for daily use and balancing of the Trust Accounting System.
-Daily use and balancing of the Trust Accounting system. Daily accounting of interest and dividends received, other Trust deposits, balancing reports and maintaining overall excellent records of Trust assets.
-Other responsibilities may include/but not limited to: paying invoices, biweekly processing of 401-k & promissory note entries, maintaining accurate records of broker entries, daily handling of cash sweep for Trust accounts. Performing daily, quarterly, and annual reconcilements. Assist trust customers as needed. Assist Trust Officers upon request. Scan all documents pertaining to Trust following Bank retention policy and shredding of any other items. Attend webinars or training sessions as needed.
Qualifications:-Accuracy of transactions, Clerical (strong base in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint),Willingness to assist coworkers as needed, Confidentiality, Attention to detail, Dependability and punctuality, Clerical experience preferred, Customer Service, Professional appearance, Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, Must be able to work overtime, if necessary, Multi-task efficiently, Ability to operate standard equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
