Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Parts Specialist;
1. Assist customers with selecting the correct parts for their machine and/or application via phone and over the parts counter.
2. Use provided guidelines to accurately prioritize work. Assist with the continual improvement of these guidelines.
3. Provide after-hours support for our customers in need of parts. Includes nights and weekends.
4. Receive in parts shipments and stocking of shelves.
5. Shipment of parts sold to customers both parcel and freight orders.
6. Work closely with the service staff in getting them the parts required to complete service work accurately and timely.
7. Parts inventory accuracy. Keep all receipts, invoicing, work orders, and transfer’s current.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Parts Specialist;
1. Customer service minded
2. Computer literate with general Microsoft Office applications and have a willingness and ability to learn the needed functions of a business software package or specific applications related to our work
3. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree, technical school diploma or certificate is preferred.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Work hours will vary with our busy season and are subject to change. We anticipate Jan – Mar & Aug Dec to be 7am – 4pm. Apr – July is anticipated to be 7am – 5pm.
Travel:
- 1 to 2 weeks per year for training, and/or customer meetings.
