What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Activity Summer Camp Group Leader position at Ohio Sports Academy?
Do you LOVE to have fun and want a job where having FUN is appreciated? We have immediate full and part-time openings for our highly-rated Summer Camps at our facility in Springboro, OH. Ohio Sports Academy prides itself on our top-notch staff! Our focus is always on excellence in everything we do, and our Summer Camps do not disappoint. The successful candidate will have a fun, outgoing personality, experience as a summer camp group leader/counselor, and must be able to become certified, including a background check at our expense. All certifications and training are paid for by us.
Great for a college summer job, a graduated high school, or anyone 18 years or older looking for a fun summer job.
Looking to hire for part-time (2 days per week) or full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday - Friday 7:15 am - 3:30 pm and/or 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
June 2nd - August 15th

Group Leader's duties and requirements:
- Enjoy and be comfortable working with kids aged 3 - 12.
- Play organized games and activities in and out of the facility.
- Lead a group of 9-12 campers through free time and organized games.
- Rotate with their group following a set schedule.
- Provide safety rules to campers and enforce safety rules.
- Establish themselves as an authority figure.
- Positively engage campers at all times.
- Engage students in themed games.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Provide age-appropriate discipline when needed.
- Neutralize conflicts between campers.
- Maintain a safe environment physically, socially, and emotionally.
- Clean up all equipment at the end shift.
- Perform immediate first-aid in the event of an injury.
Must be willing to work with students of varying ages and genders.
