Job Overview
Ohio Ready Mix is hiring a CDL A or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver in Marysville, OH. The driver will deliver ready-mixed concrete and other associated products from batch plants to construction sites and homes in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean and safe ready-mix truck. Duties
- Safely operate concrete mixers trucks to deliver materials to various job sites.
- Perform concrete mixing and pouring
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Climb in and out of truck when delivering concrete
- Lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25-75 pounds
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to promote a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Skilled in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license (class A or B)
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of construction materials handling and logistics management. (preferred)
Work Schedule
- Start times vary between 4:00 am - 7:30 am
- Monday - Friday, no weekends
- OT after 40 hours
Job Type: Full-time
